The Natural Lands Trust manages an interrelated network of projects and preserves across three states in the Delaware Valley. Project Calibrate was tasked with re-building the NatLands.org web site from the ground up using a custom-built content publishing system that would allow non-technical editors to easily publish information about projects, preserves, events, and counties across several states.

The NatLands.org web site presented a difficult information architecture challenge: The multiple levels of information were related topically, but the content was not organized in a top-down hierarchy. In order to solve this problem, Project Calibrate devised a navigation system that automatically published related content into page templates based on topical categories, geography, and related links.

Project Calibrate assisted this non-profit environmental organization with defining the scope and budget so that it could secure a grant in order to finance the project.
